In 1992, the International Feldenkrais® Federation committed to making the original teachings of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais available to the expanding array of practitioners and trainees world-wide.
The IFF Distribution Center has exclusive rights to produce materials from the contents of the Archive of the Feldenkrais Method® which is administered by the International Feldenkrais Federation. Volunteers who work on the DC Board are committed to preserving the teaching of Dr. Feldenkrais and making it available to practitioners and enrolled students.
The development of the method of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais spanned more than 30 years and is authentically preserved in an extensive collection of audio, video, transcribed, and translated publications available on this website. For the professional practitioner and enrolled student, access to these original teachings is invaluable. These materials provide a dynamic connection to the master-mind of the Feldenkrais Method, bridging a gap of knowledge that might otherwise be passed on only through interpretation.
The IFF Distribution Center (DC) is located in Portland, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America. The DC is owned by the International Feldenkrais Federation (IFF) a non-profit incorporated in France. The IFF is a membership organization made up of Guilds and Associations from around the world. For details on the IFF, and to find out if your Guild or Association is a member, visit the IFF Practitioner website.
The DC is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are appointed by the Board of the IFF. The DC has a part-time Office and Operations Manager who fills orders, responds to correspondence, and has a number of materials-related projects to maintain.
